The first iPod

The first iPod

The iPod first generation was Apple’s first iPod. Among the iPod’s innovations were its small size, achieved using a 1.8″ hard drive, whereas its competitors were using 2.5″ hard drives at the time, and its easy-to-use navigation, which was controlled using a mechanical scroll wheel, a center select button, and 4 auxiliary buttons around the wheel.

Candy Made FOR Kids Chupa-Chups

A study in Spain in the year 1957 showed that out of the total amount of candy consumed,

67% of the customers were under 16 years old. Believe it or not at the time there was no candy designed to be costumed by kids. The children were used to putting big balls of candy in their mouths until it was too sweet and after got their hands dirty and sticky from the candy when pulling out.

Enric Bernat saw the opportunity to create a product for kids in a children industry, the first idea was to distribute candy stock with a fork, then the idea was developed originally into wooden sticks due to being safer and easier to manufacture. That was the beginning of Chupa-Chups.

Yellow typical pencil

Pencils have been painted yellow ever since the 1890s. And that bright color isn’t just so you can find them on your desk more easily! In fact, the yellow pencil has a much deeper history than you might expect.

During the 1800s, the best graphite in the world came from China. American pencil makers wanted a special way to tell people that their pencils contained Chinese graphite.

In China, the color yellow is associated with royalty and respect. American pencil manufacturers began painting their pencils bright yellow to communicate this “regal” feeling and association with China
